Old Iron Days

$5 admission - Wilson County Fair Grounds - Old farm machinery, domestic demonstrations, along with a swap meet and flea market.  See broom making, shingle mill, sawmill, wheat thrashing, corn shelling, rope making and more.  For infomation, please call 620-378-3307.

7 p.m. - Fredonia High School Theater - Sign up by Monday, Sept 22nd.  Categories are 6 - 12, 13 - 18, and adult.

Community Praise Service

6:00 - 6:30 p.m. - Join us downtown at the Courthouse Parking Lot for a time of praise and fellowship.

Chili Cook-Off

6:30 - 7:30 p.m. - Local and area cooks will be competing chili to chili to see who is the best of the best.  Everyone is welcome to purchase a bowl of chili and one voting ticket for $3.00 and vote for your favorite cook.  Additional voting tickets can be purchased for $1.00.  Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Hottest and People's Choice.

Square Dancers

7:00 p.m. - Independence Promenade Club square dancers will be providing entertainment on the courthouse parking lot.

Domestic Violence Awareness Candelight Vigil

8 p.m. - Courthouse Parking Lot - This event is sponsored by the Fredonia Masonic Lodge and will allow attendees to take a moment and recognize this important cause.
